A common question I’ve gotten lately has been:
“What services do you offer?”
When people hear the word ‘calligrapher’, they’re probably thinking place cards, envelopes, wedding vows, etc. But the calligraphy world has truly blossomed beyond that, and artists are finding more ways to incorporate letter beyond the nib and ink. Here are 3 additional services I offer in the calligraphy realm.
Engraving on glass:
My bread and butter. Engraving is also possible for metal and acrylic surfaces
Debossing on cork:
The fastest technique of the three
Other surfaces include: wood, leather, and velvet (another personal fave)
Embossing on leather:
Literally the same tool and process as debossing, just imagine you place a sheet of metallic foil on top of your surface to create a shiny finish.
These 3 services are my main ones as a calligrapher engraver, and these services are the best for executing large volume brand activations in a short period of time.
